My poor laptop is in bit and pieces at the moment. It’s really amazing how lost I feel without it since it on the shelf in parts waiting patiently for a new LCD screen. Sadly, it is all my fault and there is no one else to blame! Quite a few months back, I set my computer on the floor (first mistake) and it slid up under our rocking recliner. As I lean down to pick it up not realizing its under the recliner, I hear “crunch”. I didn’t take a peak because I didn’t stop to think that I might have squished my screen (second mistake). The next morning I go to open it and use it and find that there is a nice ink blog at the top of my screen. Yeah fun! Well over the months, the blob has become a monster. It was finally time to search for and buy a replacement screen. I ordered one – it was sent to me and was about an inch short. I returned it, received another and it was 1/8th of an inch too wide. I am hoping the third time is the charm and we get the one that will slide right in and make my laptop look all new and pretty again. And of course, my husband will be extremely happy and relieved to get me OFF of HIS computer during the day. He is quite protective of his computer, but knows I will go nuts without one. Thank you honey! And thank goodness Kevin is quite handy at taking things apart and putting them back together again! Pretty huh?

Blogging is a funny thing…we tell our most intimate thoughts for all to read and yet most of the time I find myself sitting and wondering, “who is this person!?”  I know them…but yet I don’t know them!  I want to know who the person is behind all those words so I thought of a great way for all of us to “meet” each other!

1. What is your favorite kind of potato chip? Sour Cream and Onion Lays
2. Do you make your bed everyday? Nope – I usually just throw the covers up to make it look semi-neat! Probably from having to make it perfect every morning growing up!
3. How often do you go to the hair salon? Once a year – can’t afford my highlights and cut right now. So I am growing my hair and will hopefully have enough for Locks Of Love soon!
4. What do you dip your French fries in? Ketchup or Ranch dressing
5 Do you shop with coupons? If I remember to use them!

I am a bit behind today on participating in Meet Me Monday, but I have a lot of fun hopping around to all the other blogs and meeting new people! This is the 11th Edition of MMM, but my third I believe. Here are this weeks “Get to know you” questions:

1. What is your favorite kind of doughnut? Fresh and hot glazed Krispy Kremes!
2. How often do you pray? Not often enough.
3. What is your favorite kind of music? I love  pop and beach music.
4. What do you order when you eat Chinese food? Sesame Chicken, Crab Rangoon and shrimp fried rice.
5. Would you rather snowboard in the winter or swim in the summer? I would much rather swim in the summer!
